Seneca College Online Courses & Programs

Welcome to Seneca College

Seneca offers more than an education. With campuses throughout the Greater Toronto Area, Seneca’s size and diversity give students the advantage of partnerships with industry leaders, the latest in hands-on computer technology, a variety of class sizes, and full-time, part-time and continuing education options. Education should be flexible and accessible, so Seneca also employs various methods of teaching – from in-class lectures and online learning to co-op and field placements – in programs related to applied arts, business, financial services and technology.

Online Learning at Seneca

Taking a course online provides you with the flexibility to learn off-campus on a schedule that suits you. You do not have to log in or do work at a specific time of day. Simply follow the timeline set by your instructor in order to meet assigned due dates, and, if applicable, write your final exam during the scheduled exam period.

Seneca offers a number of programs fully online ranging from Certificate and Diploma programs to Ontario College Graduate Certificates.  Review our list of currently available Online Programs to find one that meets your interest.

In general, all you require is a home or office personal computer with an Internet connection and web access. An Apple or PC platform will work. There are no unique hardware or software requirements, except in highly specialized courses.

In addition to the traditional semester intakes (September, January, May) many of our online courses are available to start on a monthly intake basis. Choose the intake that best suits your schedule.

Transfer credit is credit that is granted for courses taken at another accredited post-secondary institution which are deemed as equivalent to a course at Seneca.  Find out How to Apply For Transfer Credit at Seneca
